Community Missions Lead Part Time

Position Description:

To Connect with people in the Covina, California community in order to establish ties to communicate the Good News of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. This part-time staff person will have a biblical background from his/her life experience as well as training in the Bible, leadership and ministry through an accredited school.

Outcomes:

1.     Establish connections with people in the Covina community through a variety of personal and group experiences.

2.     To partner with one or more of our on site churches to connect with the community

3.     Recruit, Train, Deploy, Monitor and Encourage volunteers

4.     Establish an Alpha discussion group

Position Requirements:

1.     A living faith and personal way of life with the Lord Jesus Christ

2.     Adherence to Biblical values, priorities and written Word of God, the Bible

3.     Willingness to grow and work with volunteers and staff

4.     Fluent in Spanish

5.     Fluent with a variety of online resourcing and computer software

6.     Communication skills

7.     A willingness to pray for others, speak up and listen to God’s Holy Spirit

8.     Good health required to do the work requested
